A 19-year-old Marietta, Georgia, resident has been charged with a couple of felonies after a traffic stop on I-70 in Cooper County on July 18.

A report from a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper says- after alerted by a canine- he located five vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana (weighing approximately 4.33 pounds); two pill bottles containing marijuana; one liquid THC cartridge; one Glock handgun; and $10,400 in U.S. currency inside the vehicle.

Mani Yohance Adams Jr. has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Bond posted the required $4,000 bond on July 21.

Adams waived his Preliminary Hearing on December 14. His case has been bound over to the trial division and Adams is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 25 at Cooper County Circuit Court.
