
A jury trial is scheduled for a 28-year-old Sedalia man facing felony charges for allegedly killing a man last year in Pettis County.
Authorities allege Elijah Watts shot to death 25-year-old Adrian Clark on August 31, 2019.
Watts has been charged with Class A Felonies for Second-Degree Murder and Unlawful Use of a Weapon; a Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Bond remains $500,000 cash or surety.
Watts pleaded not guilty on November 18.
A Pre-trial Conference in this case is set for 9 a.m. on Monday, February 1 with Jury Trial scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
