Matthew Hall “Matt” Yeagle, age 94, of rural Marshall, MO, died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his home.

At Matt’s request, cremation will take place and no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Marshall Community Cancer Center, in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born October 3, 1926 in Marshall, he was the son of the late Matthew Hall Yeagle and Clara Dehn Yeagle. Matt lived on the family farm in rural Saline County his entire life and was a graduate of Marshall High School and University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned his bachelor’s degree in agriculture. He served in the United States Army during World War II and then spent the rest of his life farming. Matt was an avid reader and enjoyed working the New York Times crossword puzzles.

Survivors include two brothers, Jerrold Yeagle of rural Marshall and Edward Yeagle (Laura) of rural Marshall; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews, all scattered throughout the United States.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and older sister, Elizabeth Braden and her husband, David.
