
Three out-of-state residents are facing felony charges after a traffic stop on I-70 in Cooper County on November 5.
According to a report from a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper, a probable-cause search of the vehicle revealed an approximate total Weight of 832.5 grams of marijuana; five grams of THC Shatter; four grams of THC Hash; and 1000 mL of THC oil in the trunk. The marijuana was packaged in odor-reducing containers. Additionally, four handguns were located, one near each of the occupants.
Court documents say 23-year-old Jalen Cooley, of Newaygo, Michigan; 19-year-old Jordan Williams, of Fort Knox, Kentucky; and 21-year-old Tailun Dicks, of Radcliff, Kentucky, each is charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon- Possession of a Weapon and a Felony Controlled Substance.
Each defendant is due for an initial appearance at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
