An area health care facility will offer two free COVID-19 testing dates next month.
As part of the partnership with Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Missouri Community Health Centers and MAKO Medical, Katy Trail Community Health will provide free COVID-19 testing.
The only requirement is that you have a Missouri address.
The test is a PCR test done by mid-nasal swab to determine the presence of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. This is not an antigen or antibody test.
The first available date for testing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5. Testing will take place at Katy Trail Community Health Harbor Village at 17571 N. Dam Access Road in Warsaw.
The second testing event will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Johnson County Fairgrounds at 386 NW 145 Road in Warrensburg.
Please register for an event by clicking on the registration link at https://mako.exchange/splash/MOmakotesting/.
If you need assistance, you may call 919-351-MAKO (6256). Please double-check the spelling of your name and your date of birth. This information must be exactly correct to receive your results. Upon completing the registration, you will receive an email with your QR Code and booking ID number. Show this QR Code and booking ID number to the site attendant in order to proceed with your test. Each person who registers must have their own email address.
Please allow at least 30 minutes for completion of testing upon arrival to the testing site.
