Collin Michael Oetting, age 23, of Concordia, MO, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in Pettis County.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, with Pastor Michael Pottschmidt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Face masks are required at all services and social distancing will be observed.

Born August 19, 1997, in Rolla, MO, he was the son of Kimberly Loughridge Oetting, who survives of St. James, MO, Michael Spangler and stepmother Jennifer, who survives of St. James, MO and the stepson of Sean Oetting, who survives of the home in Concordia. Collin lived in Concordia most of his life and was a 2016 graduate of Saint Paul Lutheran High School. Following graduation, he attended Concordia University Nebraska in Seward, NE and East Central Community College in the Rolla area. He was currently employed at Heins Dairy in rural Higginsville and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia.

Survivors include his parents, stepfather, two brothers, Lukas and Logan Oetting of the home; a sister, Mykayla Spangler of Utah and brother, Jacob Spangler, of St. James, maternal grandparents, Pete Loughridgeof St. Louis and Anna Loughridge of St. James; paternal grandmother, Brenda Spangler of Appleton City and Steve and Sharon Oetting of Concordia; paternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Heimsoth of Concordia; maternal greatgrandmother, Margaret Huffman of Fulton, MO; his girlfriend, Sarah Van Norman of St. James; as well as a host of other extended family members.
