The icy conditions over New Year’s weekend caused numerous power outages and lots of tree damage throughout the area.

During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, January 4, City Administrator David Haugland talked about how a city crew will pick up the limbs and branches that are placed curbside by the residents.

Haugland answered a question posed by Ward 2 Councilman Chuck Hines.

Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt reminds residents not to park vehicles near what they want to be picked up.

Haugland stresses that all residents who want limbs and branches picked up to have them curbside at the beginning of the sweep of town on Monday, January 11. A crew will spend all of the week of January 11-15 picking up storm debris.
