A 41-year-old Marshall woman is facing a drug-related felony charge after authorities say they found multiple drug-related items in her residence on Monday, December 28.

According to a probable-cause statement, the Lafayette County Drug Task Force briefed Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers about a narcotics search warrant for the residence of Rosemary T. Vera in the 15300 block of Jewell Avenue.

After Vera was transported from the scene, task force detectives conducted a search of the residence which revealed numerous drug-related items, including methamphetamine in a baggie; three syringes containing liquid methamphetamine; a brown glass vile with crystal residue that tested positive for methamphetamine; a digital scale with methamphetamine residue; notebooks with drug information; a loaded handgun in a closet; and several other drug-related items.

Court documents say Vera is charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Bond is set at $20,000 cash only.

Vera was arraigned on December 30. A confined docket hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, at Saline County Circuit Court.
