
A 44-year-old Marshall man is facing a felony charge for allegedly assaulting his stepfather on December 30, 2020.
According to a Saline County Sheriff’s deputy’s report, deputies responded to a physical fight in progress at a residence. The investigation revealed an adult son had struck and pushed his stepfather, resulting in broken furniture. The male son was placed under arrest and transported to the Saline County Jail.
Court documents say Jeremy Jason Winningham is charged with a Class E Felony for Domestic Assault in the Third Degree. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.
Winningham was arraigned on Monday, January 4. A confined docket hearing is scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, at Saline County Circuit Court.
