The Parents As Teachers program will offer free developmental screenings for children age 3 months to 5 years next week.

Screenings are by appointment only and eligible children must be residents of Pettis County and not yet in kindergarten. Children will be screened in speech, vision, hearing, language, readiness and motor skills. There also is a health questionnaire.

The screenings will be held on Thursday, January 14, at the Pettis County Early Childhood Center, 2255 S. Ingram Ave. Screening times are 3:30, 4:45, or 6 p.m.
