State Fair Community College will host its third free “FAFSA Frenzy” event later this month in person on the Sedalia campus and online. Each option requires an appointment.
A news release says the live sessions help students complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility for grants, loans, work-study and scholarships from federal, state or institutional financial-aid programs.
The event is scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20.
Financial-aid professionals will assist participants in completing the 2021-22 FAFSA and provide pertinent information about federal and state funding and scholarships.
Items and information needed at the time of the appointment are based on whether the prospective students are independent or dependent.
