Two Illinois residents are facing multiple drug-related felony charges after a traffic stop on I-70 on December 8, 2020, in Cooper County.

According to a report from a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper, authorities seized 10 bundles of suspected marijuana weighing approximately 10 pounds; approximately one gram of suspected cocaine; approximately five grams of marijuana; and 10 THC-infused tea bags.

David Grabowski, age 33, of Herrin, and 27-year-old Caleb Johnson, of Murphysboro, each is charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and two counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond for each subject has not been set yet.

Each subject is due for his initial appearance at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
