An area health department has given an update on the COVID-19 vaccination process.

Officials at the Pettis County Health Center say, “Our office will soon begin the process of pre-registration for the next phase of COVID-19 immunizations. This is just a pre-registration (we are not yet able to order the vaccine).”

They also say, “This is being done to get an idea of how many people in the Phase 1B category are interested in receiving the vaccine.”

A form will be available on the health center’s website, as well as on its Facebook page to fill out and return within the next couple of days.

More information will be released regarding the process when the form is made available.
