An arrest warrant has been issued for a Marshall man who allegedly sped away from a law-enforcement officer on a motorcycle on October 1, 2020.

According to a report from a Saline County Sheriff’s deputy, he received information regarding the location of Roger William Bryan Jr. who was driving a Harley Davidson-style cruiser motorcycle. Bryan had two active warrants for his arrest at that time.

The deputy says he attempted to make a traffic stop, but Bryan sped away on the motorcycle and failed to stop at a stop sign on Boyd Street. Bryan continued west on Boyd and then turned north on Miami Avenue. The deputy says he saw Bryan fail to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Miami and Highway 240, traveling at a high rate of speed. The deputy terminated the pursuit.

Court documents say Bryan is charged with a Class E Felonies for Resisting Arrest for a Felony and Driving While Revoked or Suspended. Bond is set at $15,000 cash only.

Bryan’s initial hearing is pending at Saline County Circuit Court.
