James Mast, the father of 4-year-old Jessica Mast, who allegedly died at the hands of neighbors, Ethan Mast and Kourtney Aumen on December 20, 2020, has been released on bond.

Mast was originally being held without bond on Class A and Class B Felonies for Endangering the Welfare of a Child- No Sexual Contact. The court amended his bond to $500,000 on January 19. Online court documents indicate Mast must also meet a list of requirements stipulated by the court.

Mast was released on January 20 from Benton County Jail after posting $500,000 surety bond. Court records state that James Mast must also remain in the custody of his brother, Ken Mast, have no contact with co-defendants, observe travel restriction, wear a GPS monitor, submit to regular drug tests, not possess a firearm, alcohol or controlled substance.
