A Sedalia resident has been sentenced to jail time for his role in a bank robbery that took place more than two years ago.

Officers from the Sedalia Police Department and detectives responded to Central Bank at 400 West Broadway for a reported robbery on December 26, 2018. The suspect had fled on foot to an awaiting vehicle, and authorities identified the driver as David Allen Graves. Graves was arrested the next day.

Court documents say 54-year-old Graves pleaded guilty to a Class D Felony for Stealing of $750 or More on November 12, 2020.

Graves was sentenced to serve five years in the Department of Corrections on January 19.
