Saline County Commissioners opened sealed bids for the purchase of an SUV for Assessor Jessica Adcock Goodman’s office during their meeting on Tuesday, January 26.

Four bids were received- two from Elmer Hare Ford and two from McCarthy Chevrolet Buick GMC in Marshall.

Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. read off the bids from Elmer Hare.

Guthrey then read off the two bids from McCarthy.

Commissioners pointed out this is a budgeted item. They voted to take the bids under advisement and make a decision during a future meeting.

Commissioners said their next meeting is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, February 4.
