There has been a slight delay in some of the work related to the waterline for the project at Marshall Junction, but it shouldn’t be a big factor.

During the Saline County Commission meeting on Tuesday, January 26, Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner explained the workers did not start work near Route H (Boat Road) as they expected to do late last week.

Fenner explains more of what the waterline project entails, starting near where the Boat Road grocery store was located- Route H and U.S. Highway 65.

Fenner concluded that getting that part of the project finished by this summer was in the bid and is in the plan.
