Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall is preregistering residents from Howard, Chariton and Saline Counties for COVID-19 vaccination as soon as it becomes available.

A news release says vaccine clinics are being made possible through collaboration with healthcare partners in Fayette, Brunswick and others. Fitzgibbon’s clinics will be scheduling a limited number of vaccines within the next week.

Individuals are encouraged to preregister at www.fitzgibbon.org/preregister. There will be no out-of-pocket cost to receive the vaccine. Preregistered individuals will be called to schedule their appointment after a supply of vaccine is received and they meet the state-defined eligibility criteria- explained at www.mostopscovid.com.

All vaccinations will be conducted by appointment only. No walk-in vaccinations will be accommodated at this time.
