Governor Mike Parson announced on Friday that Missouri’s current positivity rate is 9.9-percent, down from a high of 24.4-percent in November.

Governor Parson says that we continue to see encouraging signs in the data and cases are declining! And unlike other states, Missouri did not see a dramatic increase in cases over the holidays or in the weeks following. Visit: https://showmestrong.mo.gov/data/public-health/ to view the data.

This is good news and proves that Missourians are continuing to do their part by practicing preventative measures.

Taking preventative measures is still the number one way we can protect ourselves, including; washing your hands, practicing social distance, wearing your mask, and avoiding large or unnecessary gatherings. Governor Parson says this, combined with the vaccine, is how we will win the COVID-19 battle.
