
Two individuals are in custody pending formal charges after the execution of a search warrant in Pettis County on Thursday, January 29.
According to a release from Pettis County Sheriff Brad Anders, at approximately 11 a.m., the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and Miller County SWAT Team served a search warrant in the 1200 block of South Carr Avenue in Sedalia in reference to alleged drug activity.
This warrant was the result of a Pettis County Deputy conducting a drug investigation/interdiction stop. Intelligence was gathered by the task force, Pettis County Sheriff’s Office and Sedalia Police Department, which culminated in the issuance of a valid search warrant and the seizure of methamphetamine and Fentanyl.
Sedalia Codes Enforcement and Animal Control also responded to the scene for assistance.
