Just after 1 a.m. on Friday, January 29, while checking businesses, Saline County deputies identified a vehicle that had been stolen out of Kansas City on January 20.

Two subjects were arrested in connection with the stolen vehicle and possession of controlled substances.

Justin Fletcher, 29, of Denton, Texas has been charged with two Class D Felonies for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class D Felony of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree and a misdemeanor for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond has been set in his case at $25,000 cash only. Fletcher also has an active warrant from the State of Texas.

Victoria Chapman, 19, of Columbia, Missouri has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and two misdemeanor charges. Her bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.

An initial hearing for each defendant is pending at Saline County Circuit Court.
