
A Sedalia man charged with felonies for allegedly assaulting a woman in May has had his case continued.
According to a police report, on May 31, a woman claimed Brandon Cooper struck her in the face, pulled her hair and smashed the windshield of her vehicle. The woman also accused Cooper of pulling a knife on her and attempting to stab her.
Cooper was located by authorities and denied the allegations. He was taken into custody and has been charged with Class E Felonies for Domestic Assault in the Third Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon-Exhibiting. Cooper posted $10,000 surety bond on December 3.
A Preliminary Hearing in this case is scheduled to be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 2 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
