A boil advisory has been issued for part of Slater.

According to a city spokesperson, the city is going to be replacing part of a waterline today. He said the water will be shut off at 9 a.m. and scheduled to be back on by 10 a.m., at which time the 48-hour boil advisory will be in effect for residents who live on Main Street from Parker to Clyde Streets.
