A 30-year-old Sedalia man has been charged with drug-related felonies after the search of his residence on January 28 revealed multiple drug-related items.

According to a detective’s report, the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force, along with assistance from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office and Miller County Sheriff’s Office’s Entry Team, executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of South Carr Avenue in Sedalia. They say they located capsules containing fentanyl and methamphetamine as well as a dollar bill with a white substance on it that tested positive for methamphetamine.

According to the report, Viktor Gergovskyy admitted to using and selling fentanyl capsules.

Court documents say Gergovskyy is charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and two counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety.

Gergovskyy’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
