
Carl Morrow, age 94, of rural Marshall, MO, died Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Hartland Residential Care Center in rural Marshall.
Graveside services, with military rites, will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, at Malta Bend Cemetery, with Pastor Bob Stewart officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall to sign the guestbook and pay their respects. Face masks will be required, and social distancing will be observed at all services.

Carl was born on September 5, 1926, in Urbana, MO to the late Robert Manuel Morrow and Gussie Howard Morrow. His family moved to the Malta Bend area when he was nine years old. Carl was married to the mother of his children, Ruth Gorrell who preceded him in death. In December of 1972, he married Wanda Sailor Daugherty who preceded him in death on June 17, 2006. He remained in the Malta Bend area as a farmer all of his life, except for his service in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific. He was a member of Malta Bend American Legion Post 558.
Carl is survived by four children, Carol Hagedorn (Robert) of Lee’s Summit, Larry Morrow (Pat) of rural Marshall, Susan Bartlett (David) of Sedalia, MO and Michael Morrow (Teresa) of Marshall; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Vera Leuhrman of Lexington, MO; several nieces and nephews; and Wanda’s family.
In addition to his parents and wife, Wanda Daugherty Morrow, Carl was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Morrow; and a son, John Morrow.
