
A Boonville man is facing multiple felonies, including attempted murder after an incident last month.
On January 3, Boonville Police Department officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 1300 block of Main Street.
The suspect, 27-year-old Kalynn Dean Hendren is allegeded to have pointed a gun at the victim and threatened to kill her. While fighting over the gun, Hendren allegedly fired the gun. Officers found the spent shell casing, and the bullet fragment in the living room.
Hendren is charged with Class B Felonies for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and Domestic Assault in the First Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Bond is set at $500,000 cash or surety.
Hendren pleaded not guilty during his arraignment hearing on January 6. His next court appearance is set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
