The Marshall School Board is scheduled to meet next week with the State Auditor’s Office (SAO) as it prepares to begin an external audit of the school district.

According to a release from Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher, the meeting is scheduled to being at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, at the Spainhower Primary School.

The meeting will be live-streamed on the MPS website- www.marshallschools.com.

The SAO estimates the cost to the district to be $85,000 to $100,000.

Dr. Maher says the MPS Board and administration look forward to working with the SAO and reviewing its recommendations.
