Ann Hartnett, age 71, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Private family services will be held, with burial at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, February 12, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall to sign the register book and pay their respects. Face masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.

Born September 4, 1949, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Myron Thomas Hartnett and Virginia Lee Hutcherson Hartnett. She lived in Marshall most of her life where she was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a 1967 graduate of Marshall High School, a 1971 graduate of Missouri Valley College receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating summa cum laude, and a 1972 graduate of Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL receiving a Master of Arts degree. After graduation, she worked for the Department of Employment Security in Marshall, later retiring from the Missouri State Office of Administration in Jefferson City.   She lived in Columbia following her retirement before returning to live in Marshall in 2012 to live near family.  Ann enjoyed staying close with her extended family of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins and throughout her life valued the close friendships she made during her youth in Marshall.

Ann is survived by four first cousins.
