
A 42-year-old Brookfield man is facing multiple felonies after he allegedly led law-enforcement on a pursuit in May.
Christopher Allen Wilson is accused of fleeing from a Brookfield police officer when the officer attempted to make a traffic stop. The pursuit ended when the vehicle Wilson was driving traveled off the roadway and overturned, ejecting Wilson. A passenger in the vehicle was also injured. Wilson and the passenger were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Wilson is charged with a Class D Felony for Assault in the Second Degree; a Class E Felony for Resisting Arrest, Detention or Stop by Fleeing – Creating A Substantial Risk Of Serious Injury/Death To Any Person; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action.
At a court proceeding on February 4, the court scheduled a Plea/Trial Setting for 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 4 at Linn County Circuit Court.
