A 33-year-old Lexington man is facing felony charges after execution of a search warrant in September.

The Lafayette County DTF and Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department executed a narcotics search warrant on September 14 at a residence on Business Highway 13.

Several items were seized from a pull-behind camper of Thomas Kopp’s including: approximately 1.2 grams of methamphetamine; two glass pipes; two cell phones; a semiautomatic firearm; a 30-round Glock 9mm magazine; a socket used as a marijuana pipe; .22-caliber long rifle shells; and a digital scale.

Kopp is charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon; and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Kopp waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty on January 19. A Plea/Trial Setting for this case is set for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16 at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
