A 32-year-old Sedalia man is charged with multiple felonies for allegedly assaulting a woman in May.

According to a police report, on May 31, Brandon Cooper allegedly assaulted a woman and damaged her vehicle. The victim also claims Cooper threatened her with a knife.

Cooper is charged with Class E Felonies for Domestic Assault in the Third Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon-Exhibiting.

The Court revoked Cooper’s initial $10,000 bond after the Court was made aware that Cooper had committed a new offense while awaiting trial for this case. A warrant was issued and bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety. During a court proceeding on February 2, the Court amended the bond to $12,500 cash or surety.

Due to inclement weather, Cooper’s arraignment appearance has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, March 1 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
