A 61-year-old Sedalia man is charged with felonies for allegedly exhibiting a weapon in a threatening manner on or about June 1.
According to the complaint, a number of witnesses claim James Dean Turner, a convicted felon, knowingly exhibited a gun in an angry or threatening manner.
Turner has been charged with a Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon Exhibiting. Turner posted the required $7,500 surety bond in June.
Turner pleaded not guilty during his arraignment on October 19. Due to inclement weather, Turner’s most recent court proceeding has been rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 1 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
