A 38-year-old Sedalia man is facing multiple felonies following the execution of a search warrant at a residence on July 28.

According to a probable-cause statement, the Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force and Pettis County Sheriff’s office executed the no-knock search warrant at a residence on Crestview Drive in Sedalia.

As a result of the search, authorities seized a loaded handgun; nearly $400 in cash; and two baggies of a crystal like substance, that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Hill is charged with a Class C Felony for Trafficking Drugs in the Second Degree; a Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm; and a Class C Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Bond has been set at $50,000 cash or surety

Hill pleaded not guilty during his arraignment hearing on November 16. Due to inclement weather, Hill’s next court appearance is rescheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, March 1 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
