Felony charges have been filed against a 57-year-old Green Ridge man after an alleged incident on February 7.

A report from a Pettis County says a woman claimed to a deputy she was assaulted by William Sindelar. The woman, who was bleeding from a cut over her left eye, said Sindelar threw an unknown item and it hit her.

When authorities tried to arrest Sindelar, he was non-compliant, resisting by keeping his hands under his body. Sindelar was lying in a bed on his stomach, and had his arms under his chest. After Sindelar was handcuffed, he had to be pulled out of the bed.

According to court documents, Sindelar is charged with a Class D Felony for Domestic Assault in the Second Degree and a Class E Felony for Resisting Arrest. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

Sindelar was arraigned on February 9. His next hearing is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
