A 21-year-old House Springs resident charged with a felony for stealing a motor vehicle in August has been sentenced to serve some time in jail.
Charles Lawrence Olson was taken into custody while he was attempting to steal a motor vehicle on August 7.
Olson waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty, on February 22, to a Class D Felony for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle. The Honorable Robert L. Koffman, Presiding Judge for the 18th Judicial Court, sentenced Olson to spend 4 years in jail with credit for time served.
