
Debbie Walgren, 62, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs with Pastor Alan Mueller officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Born February 21, 1959 in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Doris VanBibber Young. On May 16, 1989 she married Gary Lee Walgren who preceded her in death on May 10, 1991. Debbie lived in Saline and Lafayette counties her entire life where she worked as the meat department and deli manager at Piggly Wiggly in Higginsville and then retired as an in home aide with Four Seasons In Home Health Services. Debbie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two children, Crystal Nading (Tommy) of Grain Valley and Travis Young (Naomi) of Sedalia; eight grandchildren: Hailey, Hunter, Sawyer, Libby, Caleb, Nicholas, Natasha and Kody; her companion, Vernon Sylvester of the home; two sisters, Lois Young of Grain Valley and Mary Claborn (Bob) of Concordia; two nephews, Shawn Young (Jada) and Quinten Claborn; as well as other extended family members; two dogs, Roxie and Lilly; and one diva cat, Shamie.
In addition to her mother and husband; she was preceded in death by one nephew, Alex Claborn.
