Evergy Metro, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri Metro has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to implement tariffs that authorize and enable a Transportation Electrification pilot program.

A news release says Evergy Missouri Metro asks the Commission to find that the proposed “Clean Charge Network” expansion plan in its application is “prudent from a decisional perspective”. Evergy Missouri Metro also requests the deferral of costs associated with the program.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than March 19, 2021, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.

The Office of the Public Counsel is a separate state agency that represents the general public in matters before the Commission.

Evergy Missouri Metro serves approximately 292,700 electric customers in 13 Missouri counties, including Carroll, Chariton, Howard, Lafayette, Pettis and Saline in the KMMO listening area.
