Erma M. Wilson, age 84, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, and formerly of Slater, died Thursday, February 25, 2021, at her home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Wednesday, March 3, at Slater City Cemetery, with Paul Durham officiating. Pallbearers will be Caleb Wilson, Tony Wilson, Josh Newman, Skyler Newman, Dallas Spence and Garry Durham. There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to the family choice in care of Weiker Funeral Home.

Born January 4, 1937 in rural Slater, she was the daughter of the late Archie J. and Velma Ford Durham.  On October 4, 1953 in Gilliam, she married James Roger Wilson, and he survives of the home.

Also surviving is a son, Doug Wilson of Slater; a daughter, Regina Johnson of Barnett; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, J.B. Durham of rural Marshall, Paul Durham of Malta Bend, and Dale Durham of Bates City; and a sister, Beverly Massengill of Springfield.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Kay Wilson; two brothers, Richard Durham and Jearl Durham; and three sisters, Patricia Miller, Leona Skinner, and Dorothy Fuemmeler.

Mrs. Wilson worked at Town & Country Shoe Factory in Slater before moving to the Sunrise Beach area in the 1960’s.  She retired from a clothing factory in Versailles.
