Despite COVID-19 cutting into fundraising efforts during 2020, the Sweet Springs Restoration Foundation is continuing to spruce up the downtown area.

President Bill Koch says the board will meet to go over what has been accomplished at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 1.

Koch explains some of the work the foundation was able to get accomplished this past year despite all of the limitations caused by COVID-19.

Koch says all residents are invited to the meeting.

Koch says, “The whole effort is to bring downtown back to life, and it’s really working. We’ve had other people who are buying buildings and fixing them up. A lot of positive things are happening in Sweet Springs.”
