The Marshall School Board discussed options for the 2021-22 calendar for the district during its meeting on Tuesday, February 23.

According to unofficial minutes from the meeting, the board was presented two options.

The board unanimously approved Option 1, which allows for early-outs on Wednesdays for professional development.

Important dates include: Principals, counselors and nurses return on August 2; Kindergarten screening during August 9-11; On-site registration is scheduled for August 10; Project Share on August 12; the first day of school is August 25; Homecoming is September 17; Thanksgiving Break November 24-26; Christmas Break is December 20-31; Spring Break is March 17-21, 2022; Easter Break is April 14-18, 2022; Graduation is May 22, 2022; and the last day of school is May 24, 2022.
