Pettis County has now vaccinated 15.9 percent of its population with at least one dose.

According to the state’s website, 6,746 Pettis County residents have received at least one dose and 4,563 have completed the two-dose series.

According to unofficial minutes from the Pettis County COVID-19 Task Force meeting on Monday, March 8, the next first-dose clinic will be at the MoAg theater in Sedalia on March 9-10 for those preregistered in the Phase 1B, Tier 2 group- which is people 65 and older and those with certain chronic health problems.

Healthcare officials urge others to, “Please help friends and family who do not have access to the internet or cannot get out easily to register for (the) vaccine. Online registration is also available through the Bothwell website. We are trying to reach all eligible people in the current categories.”
