A 56-year-old Whitley City, Kentucky, woman changed her plea and has been sentenced to jail time in Cooper County.

Wanda Sarver was arrested on October 12 after a trooper with the Missouri State Highway Patrol located 117 pounds of marijuana, one pound of THC wax, and a bank bag for transporting currency and a vacuum sealer for packaging marijuana.

On March 8, Sarver withdrew her original plea of not guilty and pleaded guilty to a Class C Felony for Trafficking Drugs in the Second Degree. The Court has ordered Sarver to spend three years in the Department of Corrections.
