During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, March 11, Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden says the waterline project is moving right along.

In other business, Clerk Debbie Russell asked for approval of a transfer of funds.

The amount of the transfer approved was $37,125.

Russell also reminds residents that March 24 is the last day they can request a ballot via mail for the upcoming Municipal Election. Absentee voting is ongoing during regular business hours through 5 p.m. on Monday, April 5, at the county clerk’s office on the north side of the square in Marshall. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6.
