During the Marshall City Council meeting on Monday, March 15, Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt reported yard waste pickup will resume on Monday, March 22.

Brandt also said there is an event scheduled for residents to discard bigger unwanted items rather than on their regular trash day.

The hours for the event will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. rain or shine on Saturday, April 10.

Brandt said several items will be accepted, but others will not.

Brandt also says grass and brush will be accepted that day at the compost area until 4 p.m.
