A 37-year-old Sedalia man is facing a couple of felonies for allegedly having inappropriate relations with a juvenile.

On August 13, the father of a 14-year-old juvenile reported to authorities, that his brother, Joshua E. Breshears inappropriately touched the young girl. According to the report, the abuse occurred when the girl was approximately 6-years-old while Breshears was living with his brother and the juvenile.

Breshears waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty, on March 15, to two counts of a Class B Felony for Child Molestation in the First Degree. He posted $50,000 surety bond on December 29.

His next court appearance is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 19, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
