The list of roadways closed in the KMMO listening area has decreased by one from Tuesday, March 16.

According to the MODOT Traveler Information Map, in Saline County, Highway 127 north of Sweet Springs is closed at Salt Pond Creek. Also closed is Old Highway 40, south of I-70 and just west of Sweet Springs.

In Johnson County, Highway 23 between Concordia and Knob Noster; and Route E near Valley City are closed at the Blackwater River.

In each case, drivers should seek an alternate route.

However, in Carroll County, Route E at Turkey Creek near Shifferdecker Memorial Conservation Area that was closed has been reopened to traffic.
