The Marshall City Council discussed a memorandum of understanding with the Marshall Tourism Commission regarding the hiring of a Tourism Coordinator during its meeting on Monday, March 15.

Ward 1 Councilman Leon Thompson says he’s very excited about this opportunity.

Thompson explained all of the details of the position.

The council voted to approve the resolution.
