
A Marshall man is facing a felony charge following a traffic stop on November 7.
According to a law-enforcement report, an officer observed a clear crystallized substance, which tested positive for methamphetamine, inside a clear bag inside the vehicle. The subject who was driving the vehicle was found to be in possession of a syringe and a bundle of money.
James Edward Brown pleaded not guilty to a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance; and drug- and driving-related misdemeanors, during his arraignment on December 2. Brown posted $15,000 surety bond on November 10.
A Preliminary Hearing Setting in this case is set for 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 7 at Saline County Circuit Court.
