A 29-year-old Boonville man has admitted guilt to multiple felony charges for allegedly shooting at another vehicle on I-70 in Montgomery County last year.

On April 7, 2020, Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers responded to the report of shots fired from inside a moving vehicle that struck and disabled a van, which had three persons inside. A truck driver also gave an eyewitness account of the incident.

Chad Michael Kennedy pleaded guilty on Thursday, March 18 to six counts of a Class B Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon; three counts of a Class B Felony for Assault or Attempt in the First Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action.

Kennedy is scheduled to sentenced at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 20 at Montgomery County Circuit Court.
